Children's Advocacy Project (CAP) of Philadelphia
The CAP site provides a user-friendly, comprehensive listing of the many social service agencies to assit families in the Philadelphia area. The site also has links to Resources (sample advocacy letters), and Helpful Links to national and regional advocacy organizations.

Parents Involved Network (PIN) of Pennsylvania
A statewide organization that assists parents or caregivers of children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral disorders. PIN also provides information, helps parents find services and will advocate on their behalf with any of the public systems that serve children. These include the mental health system, education, and other state and local child-serving agencies. PIN Facts Sheets

Parent to Parent of Pennsylvania
A networking organization created by families for families of children and adults with special needs. They connect families in similar situations with one another so that they may share experiences, offer practical information and/or support, in such areas as physical disabilities, developmental disabilities, special health care needs and behavioral/mental health concerns. Pennsylvania Families Inc. (PFI)
A statewide family network that supports groups, advocates, parent mentors and organizations that assist families who are raising children with emotional or behavioral disorders. They provide lists of supports for parents and providers available in county/region/state for parents who have children with behavioral as well as special needs issues. Pennsylvania Family Support Alliance
The alliance is a community partner in the prevention, intervention, and treatment of child abuse. Program services include education in parenting skills, support services for families and training programs for professionals. The site also provides a link to Parenting Information that includes parenting tips. Toll free number is 1-800-448-4906.

Parent Teacher's Association (PTA)
The Pennsylvania PTA and National PTA sites provide an array of information and resources for parents and a link to find your local PTA in Pennsylvania.

Pennsylvania Partnerships for Children (PPC)
PPC is a strong, effective and trusted voice to improve the health, education, and well-being of Pennsylvania's children. PPC also leads the PA Children's Advocacy Network to help Pennsylvanian's take action on behalf of their children.

Provides contact information on Pennsylvania's state agencies, disability specific organizations, and parent organizations.
